Review of today:
I got woken up at around 5:40 in the morning by "surprise" (I knew this was gunna happen) and got dressed by band people, who were wearing unusual clothes (ex. Girl tank top on a guy, snuggie with weird beanie, tux with dyed blond hair...). They put a really small pink shirt on me, bead necklaces, a snorkel around my neck, half of a Darth Vader helmet, gave me a stuffed tiger, and made me hold an arrow. I was then stuffed into a car with other victims of the kidnapping, and we were driven around while the rest of the group captured more people. Then, the whole band marched to Ruby's at the end of the pier, and we ate breakfast. There were many people taking pictures, and it was awesome. It was fun, because I knew this was gunna happen, and it was funny seeing all the freshmen complain.
Guess which one is me...
For the second part of my day, I went to church to paint the youth room. When I arrived, the paint samples were marked on the wall, and it was obvious that "forrest" and "tope" were NOT the most exciting colors to paint the room. The excuses for this were that other people used the youth room, and white and green would be a nice color to make sure that the others weren't distracted. The other excuse was that if the colors were already exciting, then we wouldn't be able to put posters and stuff on the walls. I disagree with that, because you can put decorations on any color wall, it just can't have a crazy design on it.
Anyways, at first it was pretty boring, and all the little kids got priority on painting. Eventually, I got to paint a wall, and it turned out perfect, unlike most of the other walls. Soon, though, the painting session turned into a "paint each others' faces" competition. Eventually, the walls got almost done (I had to leave before the walls were finished), and that means it's time to buy some SFIV posters to hang in this boring room.
Finally, it was time for some lame boyscout event. Meh. I ended up not going, because boy scouts (in my opinion) is a place where annoyed guys babysit little kids. So, I ended up staying home.
While I was at home, I noticed a few cameras lying around. I decided to take a bunch of photos to make a video (will post this later), and used my iPod nano to film my iPod touch (iPod-ception!) I'll post one of these videos eventually.
And right now I'm pondering about why my Echo and the Bunnymen cd didn't come yet. The estimated shipping date was 3-5 business days, and it's been 10 days. Sooooo, every time I see a mail truck I watch it go to all my neighbors houses while nothing comes to me. Meh
Well... Hasta luego
