The Fake Rain

1) Put this website on:
http://www.rainymood.com/
2) Close your blinds/windows
3) Now listen to some soft music, like Steely Dan or Simon and Garfunkel, or some slow Journey songs. Something that isn't an insane person screaming into a microphone (Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett in it), or super happy Hairspray soundtrack. Jazz fits in too. Just something that you'd actually listen to on a rainy day. BUT IT HAS TO BE ON VINYL or CASSETTE. That way you can't choose the song, and it has a possibly better sound.

The reason I tell this to you is so that you can replicate a rainy day. If it's raining where you are, skip step 1. But here, it never rains. AT ALL. So I decided to enjoy the internet and put on some rainy sounds. Then Simon and Garfunkel sounded good, but I always listened to their Greatest Hits album, so I put on Bookends. It started with a super upbeat song, so I quickly switched to Steely Dan.

Actually, Brock, I found myself listening to Gershwin in this scenario. Hmmmm....

I find myself not doing my analysis on the character I'm playing for a play: Lady Macbeth. So I'll leave you with a picture and be really really really gone for the night.
