So, yesterday I thought I'd start my physics project.
I went to the real electronics store, but the store was closed. So, I went to radioshack and handed some lame guy my parts list. He went over to the electronics bins, and didn't know why there were two different capacitors listed on the materials. "It says 1.0 uf capacitor here, but here (later down the parts list) it says .01 uf capacitor! The person obviously doesn't know what he or she is talking about (but he probably said "they" instead of "he or she") and needs to put down one capacitor. AND WHY ISN'T THE PHOTORESISTOR ON THIS PARTS LIST LABELED?! And why isn't '1K Resistor (colours: Brown, Black, Red, Gold)' specifically labeled?!"
Well, photoresistors aren't labeled, as far as I know, and that the resistor was properly labeled. The guy got frustrated, and suggested building a preamp from a kit. Then he started making a bunch of stupid puns, and I promptly left, now waiting another day for the real electronics store to open.
