GeoCaching week one

Went geocaching this week. So far I've found (along with the help of some friends and some others) about 50 geocaches.

If you DON'T know what it is, here's a brief explanation:

  • People hide containers of various sizes in places all over the world.
  • You can find the containers by plugging in their GPS coordinates (provided at http://www.geocaching.com/) into your GPS device.
  • They put a paper in the container. People who find this container sign their name in it, and can say whether they found the "cache" (the container) or not online.
  • If there are objects in the container, you can take an object as long as you put something of equal or greater value inside.

Jason is holding the caches and stuff.

So if you haven't attempted to go geocaching yet, just go to http://www.geocaching.com/ and sign up. Then go exploring.
