Release the hounds

Today was an ALMOST typical day. It's the start of Thanksgiving break, so I guess that's pretty good. But mainly, today I went on an adventure.

It started at my house. Everything was normal, except it was no longer safe. For no longer could I find protection in the boundaries of my property, let alone my home. Neither could anyone else though, so I took the rare opportunity to vandalize. Their house is no longer anything; a pile of crushed stone and bricks. Finally, my neighbor wouldn't have a safe home to live in, or any supplies. I stashed them, and headed back to my own home.

I needed proper inspection of my home, to make sure no one stole from my stash, or sabotaged the interior of my safe haven. First, I searched the second story of my house. Nothing seemed out of place, nor broken. Perfect! After that, the next place to inspect was my basement. I heard strange noises coming from them, and this time my property boundaries couldn't save me what was down there. I opened the door, and immediately a foul beast comes up and attacks me! I quickly pull out my shovel, and the zombie is dead within a couple hits. Or...re-dead.

After turning a corner of my basement, various assortments of monsters start assaulting me. There is no resistance, too many. And suddenly, I'm on the floor.

I wake up to find myself in a large tower. Water is dropping from it, and it looked like people attempted to blow it up. The drop was severe, and I would probably die if I jumped from this height. Only 2 ways out now. Two bridges: one to the east and one to the west. I quickly sprint down the nearest path, which is thicker than the other. Everything around the paths was destroyed, and at the end was where the plains started.

The plains stretched on for miles. On the way, were civilizations, but all of them were nearly destroyed. The stashes were broken into, houses burned, and streets torn apart. This style went on for hours, until I approached a small mountain village. For some reason, it seemed familiar. As I walked nearer, it revealed itself to be my first home ever. Unfortunately, there was nothing in storage, and nothing valuable to take at all. So I moved on.

Up a small hill from the mountain village lie a castle. This castle had all the supplies: crates of food, weapons, and armor. Plus, a music player for added entertainment. This area had it all, and yet no one seemed to claim it yet. Everything was in perfect shape, and even quarters of the wealthiest people remained in this community. It had all the essentials that anyone would need.

And this is how it ends, for now. This world ends in a couple days, when the rules get restored. Then, a new, more amazing world will rise. And I will be one of the first to inhabit it.

If you couldn't figure it out, that was minecraft. It updated to its official release, so all the plugins on the multiplayer servers aren't updated yet. Therefore, one can destroy and plunder everything.
